The purpose of this devotional is to usher you from salvation to discipleship. What if I were to tell you that salvation is only the first step in this new exciting life? God's desire is for us to follow Jesus's model of faith, humility and integrity. The word disciple is defined as a follower or a student of a teacher. The Apostles, those 12 men who were Jesus' closest students are commonly referred to as "the disciples". Our purpose here is to celebrate you coming to Jesus and to lay out some practical steps that point the way to becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. These steps are encapsulated in 3 actions: repent, submit, and obey.
