In Jeremiah, God tells the prophet to go down to the potter's house where clay is kneaded, pulled, and folded. It's a metaphor, for life similarly pushes and squeezes us. But what if it's not just life? What if it's actually God working in and through us?
We envision our lives to be a certain way, but God has a higher purpose. We are to contain Him, to be indwelt by Him, and that's made possible by the miracle of what Christ accomplished on the cross. Authentic Christianity isn't about remodelling ourselves into better versions. It's about Jesus leading us in and through life's adventures.
There is a collaboration between you and Jesus in you. Surrendering to Him will lead you to a place where Jesus spills out of you all the time, no matter what.
